Introduction to nv-codec-headers (ffnvcodec)

The nv-codec-headers package package provides headers for interacting with NVIDIA codec APIs. This package also goes by the name of ffnvcodec. If you're not wanting to use or target NVIDIA-580.105.08, skip this package.

Installation of nv-codec-headers (ffnvcodec)

Install nv-codec-headers by running the following command as the root user: 

make PREFIX=/usr install

If you are doing multilib, make a symlink for the pkgconfig file as the root user: 

ln -sfv /usr/lib{,32}/pkgconfig/ffnvcodec.pc
