Introduction to Fcitx5-m17n

The Fcitx5-m17n package provides a wrapper around the m17n engine for Fcitx.

Fcitx5-m17n Dependencies

Required

CMake, extra-cmake-modules, Fcitx5-5.1.14, and m17n-1.8.5

Installation of Fcitx5-m17n

Install Fcitx5-m17n by running the following commands: 

mkdir build &&
cd    build &&

cmake -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr   \
      -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release    \
      -D CMAKE_SKIP_INSTALL_RPATH=ON \
      -D ENABLE_TEST=OFF             \
      -Wno-dev .. &&

make

Now, as the root user: 

make install

Command Explanations

-D CMAKE_SKIP_INSTALL_RPATH=ON: This switch makes cmake remove hardcoded library search paths (rpath) when installing a binary executable file or a shared library. This package does not need rpath once it's installed into the standard location, and rpath may sometimes cause unwanted effects or even security issues.
